Tomorrow we have the first meeting of the education committee for the Golisano Children's Hospital at University Hospital. While the tasks ahead are daunting (we essentially have to restructure the way we do things and have it ready to roll in a year's time), I can't tell you how freaking excited I am to be involved in this

Oh man. There's got to be a burrito19 stamp on the place somewhere.

At this point, it'll just be blood, sweat and tears. I might buy a brick or something. My hope is to work there for many years to come and leave my impression on the medical students and residents I'll encounter during my career. My stamp on the place will be when those students and residents go on to teach others what I have taught them.

It's finally hitting me that in a year, I'll be working in a brand new hospital that I helped develop.
