Alright, for starters, I am not a member of guysanddolls nor am I a mun you have written with far as I know, I am however a gigantic fan of Avatar who writes for Jet, and let me just say your post with Zuko on areyougonnabemy intro was the dream post I have ALWAYS been waiting to see.
Your grasp of Zuko's feelings towards wanting to redeem himself and his nation is the best handle of that angle I've seen portrayed yet. Many writers can get his voice down, perhaps expertly delve into the strength of the bond he had with Iroh, but they usually forget to have him feel any regret for people in the Earth Kingdom. As fans in the audience, when we watch the events in Ba Sing Se, we either laugh at Jet's paranoia or view his tailing Zuko and Iroh as annoying- but in the mind's of the characters, these issues are obviously a lot deeper, and you captured that brilliantly. Your Zuko is the first one I have come across that actually wanted to know what happened to Jet, and genuinely felt PITY for his defeated state without the other having to instigate/force

Thank you SO MUCH, anon. ♥ You have no idea how much this means to me, particularly because I've noticed the way other (very well-played) Zukos react to meeting Jet for the first time after the events of Ba Sing Se. It would make sense for him to be dismissive or irritable if his canon point was from Season 2 -- but for Season 3 Zukos, after he's defected from the Fire Nation to join Team Avatar, it makes a little more sense that he'd be guilty for the treatment of the Earth Kingdom people. Especially when he realizes that Jet meeting him essentially is what got him killed.
I kind of felt like the odd one out, having Zuko be more willing to talk to the Jets he meets (both in-game and around dear_mun). But considering the fact that he tries to make amends with Team Avatar for what his country has done, particularly Katara, I can definitely see him extending that toward other people like Jet. From the canon point I took Zuko in GND, he wants people to be his friend; it took a lot of guts to leave his country, but because he did he's
