cosmetics enlightment

working at aura science has given me so much knowledge and interest for the cosmetic world. now, i can't go a week without looking for a new color for my lips, eyes or cheeks. maybe i love it so much, because makeup is such a beautiful form of art. anyhow, there is this Dior makeup case for eyes and lips that i've had my eye on since it came out. fun! makeup is addictive, isn't it? do you feel like your technique improved from working at aura too? how many makeovers did you do, rough estimate? lol!

hey maybe you should work for sephora!! oh wait, you're working for coach, right? when do you start? (congrats btw!)

oh my gosh... my makeup application has improved immensly! working with makeup artists and having free color classes from the company enlightened the makeup guru in me! a roudh estimate of makeovers that i did would be 40 - 50. we had a lot of events, so that really shot up the number in experience. i love makeup! *sigh*

well the manager for coach is supposed to get back to me tomorrow so [knock on wood] it should be a shoe-in unless i have a criminal past i dont know about!

i saw that in the sephora e-mail update thingy. i agree. so pretty! i don't know how i'd wear such bright colors though. i suck at doing my own makeup. people always say i look better without any, or with just very little. maybe my color picking is bad. usually i pencil in the corner of my eyebrows to extend them a little bit, curl my eyelashes and then apply mascara. and that's it. make up is so fun, though.

it sucks being plain. =(

I'm sure you're not plain!!! just a natural beauty :] you should experiment playing with colors on a rainy day. a tip on the eyebrows... fill powder for the brows looks more natural than the pencil. you can find a good match for your brows from shiseido. ooh and blue... brings out brown eyes :)

Your are diviluging important secrets that only make up artists like us are supposed to know! ((and the occasional drag queen))

The best part is when you are just goofing around with stuff and something comes up that you actually like. Smokey eyes forever. ((BTW, there are only two types of black eyeshadow I would ever use. MAC's carbon and Ben Nye...they hold up longer than the covergirl stuff...and in my case it's coverGIRL not coverBOY))

sorry, once anyone says anything about cosmetics I'm up and all over them. You should come up to New York and paint me.
