i didn't go to school today, because i look like death eating dung. i cried so much last night that i could barely open my eyes this morning. they were terribly puffy. i look like a monster. something ridiculous happened last night. i forgot my dad's phone charger in the taj mahal hotel room in atlantic city. and this isn't just any phone charger. if it's not in the hotel lost and found i might have to do that.

she just makes me feel so stupid over the smallest things.

you might trying calling the hotel to see if the cleaning ladies found it. over the summer i went to maui with my bf and i forgot my sandals under the bed, and i called, and they shipped them back to me for free!

hope you feel better. sounds like my mom and me, if it's any consolation. =(

yeah... burt called the lost and found for me. he left a message, because no one answered, but we will see what happens.

my mom just gets too harsh.

Some parents just can't find the right way to express their love for their children. Your mom nags to no end, but it's the only way she knows how to love you. It's sad, but you just have to accept it.

she always does that. she has such great ability to make you feel like the world would be so much better without you. she makes me feel like her life would be a smoother trip without me as a burden.
I'm sure none of that is true and that she doesn't intend to make you feel that way.

Try to brush it off. She sounds like 95% of filipino moms I know. =T That's why when I have a family, I'm gonna raise them white. Just kidding. I think...

well i hope you are right. she actually doesn't treat all of us like that. she has her favorites. which is why i wonder if she really ever questions her own methods of talking to me.

heh... if it's white that's right, then i'm doing it too. i'm determined not to talk at my children, but to them. i told burt to promise me to say something if he sees me doing the same things my mother does.
