moving is a kick in the stomach. i hate leaving such good memories behind in an object that i cant keep. Take a bit of floor board with you.

yeah... and recently all i have realized is how crazily emotionally attached I get to anything. For serious, moving right now is more like a kick in the ovaries.

Materialisticlly, my past is about 99% gone. Yes, I miss it sometimes, but the new moments and experiences help. Sometimes I want to wallow, but it is also the beginning of a time when I can experiment with new personalities and concepts. My parents moved the day I went to college. Talk about closure. It has not seemed to change since. My past lay in ruins. But I have also managed to amass a base of support that makes today and tomorrow more bearable.
I am sorry you are starting on this path, but also excited for you.

I am those as well. But it is still awfully timed for me. Luckily, they're all thrilled. It's good to see them excited about something/
