i finally watched tonari no totoro (my neighbour totoro) this weekend.

my favourite out of miyazaki's movies.

I love Totoro too! :D It always cheers me up if I've had a bad day.

I think my favorite Miyazaki film is Kurenai no Buta (Porco Rosso), though.

when I saw it with my then 7-year-old niece at the scene
where they meet the big one in the forest she said, scared:
'is she going to be eaten?!' hehe. such an adorable movie.

ever since i watched this movie, i've been on the hunt for a stuffed totoro doll. i finally found one the other day, after much searching. it was kind of expensive, though.
