I've just been reading my entries about mum's cancer etc.

She passed away in February. The doctor had given her some antibiotics for a cough a few months before, but it turned out that the cancer had spread to her lungs. And her liver. And her bowels. She died within a month of being told it was terminal. She died less than 2 weeks after being told

Just popped on here for the first time in a year - that's awful news about your mother, I'm so sorry to hear that. That all sounds so sudden - it didn't give your mum, or you or your family much time to process that information before she died. My heart goes out to you xoxo

I don't know what led me here, but damn, Sharlie, that really fucking sucks :( I wish there were words to make it better, but it's a really horrible kind of hurt to have to deal with. Just know that time never erases it, but it does get better. Thinking of you x
