First advent, still no snow..

Somehow Gothenburg missed the snow chaos that seems to be all over Sweden. It's cold though, six degrees below zero and I really need some warmer winter cloths. The boots I got last year are more suitable for forest hiking than cold city roads, but I haven't found and good ones yet

Goodness - you and your family have been dealing with this for so long - it's such a marathon. You always have my thoughts and good wishes.

Happy Christmas season :) Over here in the Netherlands it's all Sinterklaas instead of Christmas and it hardly feels like winter, so I'm making my own ambiance - I put up my tree and I'm making cranberry-gingerbread scones, and thinking of my trip home to the icy, snowy regions.
