[Auron has gathered most of his items by now... aside from one last thing. He's currently in the clothing store at a section of sunglasses, trying them on one by one to find his pair. His sword and clothes (and even his jug) were much easier to find

[ There's someone else here looking for her own things. She looks a little lost and overwhelmed; it seems like she's having some trouble discerning between the items in the shop.

But she overhears Auron talking nearby and turns her head in his direction. Cautiously, she approaches the rack of sunglasses and hovers her hand over a few of them, finally tapping her fingers against one. ]

... This one.

[ It has the same feel as this man, so she assumes it must be what he's looking for. ]

[Auron looks over when she approaches and then toward the pair she'd indicated. He seems skeptical at first, until he takes them and puts them on. They're definitely his.]

How did you know?

[ She steps back when he moves to take them, keeping a safe distance between them. ]

Everything is connected. This one does not see, but feels. There must be many things here... that once belonged to many people.

So I have heard, about the items in these stores... [Auron pauses and gives her an interested look as he considers what she's told him.] What do you sense about this world we're in now?

Do you know if anything has been done about that so far?

Unfortunately, there's really nothing that can be done. Efforts have been made, by trying to break the barrier, or trying to reason with the Malnosso, but we learned that breaking the barrier is not a wise idea, and the Malnosso are actually incapable of sending us home.

So we ultimately have no choice but to rely on the mercy of our captors.

[And he certainly doesn't sound any more happy about it than you do.]

[Auron listens to this thoughtfully, unsurprised but no less determined. He understands the sentiment in the other's tone.]

No choice but to wait, for now.

I've seen mention of another threat outside the barrier. A group against whom the Malnosso wage war?

That doesn't mean I have to accept it.

None of us have to accept it, but what can you do?

[Gippal wanders in a few minutes later and stays leaning on the door-frame, watching him oddly]

So what? You're going to fight again? ... How?

They leave us no other choice.

[Auron looks at him, a hint of surprise in seeing someone else familiar here. So far, it's only been himself and Tidus.]

How long have you been captive here?

And this barrier thing? It's definitely nothing we can just smash through Shot with my canon, nothin'.

[Nods.] I've heard that it's impenetrable, and that our captors maintain a safe distance beyond it.

It's still worth being prepared.
