I have a visa! (It's only taken 7 months and around £1000...). Now I'm somewhat terrified and guilty and confused!

But I think it's good news? Surely yes.

Anyway, it means at the very least that work (the Leadership Centre) are going to offer me a permanent contract, hoorah

You're alive!!! I was beginning to wonder if you had crawled under a rock somewhere and gone to sleep. I am so glad you finally have your visa that is awesome. And what's more is that you get a permanent position at your work, that's great. So glad to see an update. Be sure to check my journal, just updated it. later. :)
