My flatmate and I have pledged to go shopping and actually buy some clothes this weekend.

The range of dreadful haircuts I discovered was even worse!

I actually looked in my wardrobe today and thought 'Where did all these clothes I don't like and that AREN'T ME come from???'. OK so I do like *some* of the things I have, but I am about to move from a dry, cold climate to a tropical one. I need new clothes AND new style. Dear God.

I'm moving to East Timor in the middle of November... I hope... I have been offered the job but it has to be approved by the employer first. I've been offered a volunteer placement for 12 months with the East Timorese government's gender equality unit, as a gender research adviser.

Mmm haircut... I like my haircut... but it'll have to change as I won't be near a decent hairdresser for a year!
