Pregnancy: Good and Bad Omens
I map my pregnancy with a web of events and trivia that so far have constellated around both of my former pregnancies and wonder whether this child will patent the karma of her/his siblings or if a new version of reality will emerge?..
Celebrity Pregnancies
The Australian celebrities of choice had shared my journey:

Holidays
I have always conceived while on holiday somewhere… actually Sydney. This is the first time things happened at home before I had a chance to roam. Coffee machines and all that..
Car Accidents
We were involved in car accidents during my other pregnancies. Both times we were waiting at the lights minding our own business when someone hit us. Not something I hope to repeat.
Friend’s Pregnancies
So far I was always pregnant with my friend L and always a year after SIL B, in order that each cousin gets their moment in the sun. My pregnancy has always set off a chain reaction amongst my friend A and her two sisters.
Now I am actually with my other SIL (who is due pretty damn soon), L isn’t pregnant but J and A are and I can only guess as to who will follow my lead, A and her sisters all in the running for a trifecta.
Funerals
I have attended funerals with a week old Kahlil and three week old Hamish. It made for a very surreal contrast to say the least.
I am going for my first ultrasound next week. Please send prayers, good vibes, toast me with your drug of choice or mediate in my general direction. This has always been a fabulous experience and one precedent in which I hope this little space prawn chooses to follow!
