I like abstruseness because it eludes. I prefer the implicit to the explicit, relative intrepretations attract me. Literary influences: the French Symbolists, aesthetes, and dandys. Poetry/works by Baudelaire, Mallarme, and Flaubert depict rather than explain. Paintings by Munch, Moreau, and Gaugin. For me, the world is a complex experience, and I am interested in exploring the different representations of it, rather than looking for any definites.
