my friend from school, wyatt, also died on thursday. i just found out today. seriously, why is everyone dying? i spent most of my life only having to have dealt with one death, and now it seems that time is catching up. the shock is overwhelming. at least he died helping the world become a better place, and it is because of people like him that

I agree with Jenna wholeheartedly - when it rains, it really does fucking pour. Last year, one of my friends experienced more than 4 deaths in her immediate family within the period of a few months (I'm sure you can guess who it was). It sounds dumb..but I look at how she got through it, and it makes me appreciate everything so much more. This all sounds pretty damn trite, but chin up, Sditty. Shit sucks, but it's just a part of life.

it's odd - same thing has happened to a couple different people i know. i work with a girl who was best friends with dru shadean (the north dakota girl that was abducted and killed by a sex offender), and she's had a few other friends her age die in the last year. but what doesn't kill you makes you stronger - these kinds of things build character. so you're going to be a girl with some very strong character, at the least. <3
