As some of you know, Pebbles has had to go and see Uncle Jason for an op. He has removed what turned out to be a massive absess measuring around 2cm from her mouth, just under her eye. He also had to remove 2 molars (as opposed to the one we had hoped) in the process

I'm afraid we have no advice to give re Pebbles abcess. But we are sending lots of get well vibes so hopefully she might not need to worry.

My mummy has kept absess wounds clean from the outside of the body (that's a simple job) she has never done anything inside the mouth,
Only thing she can suggest is have a word with Uncle Jason, he will show your mummy step by step what to do (or not to do) and he will make sure your mummy knows exactly what is expected of her, he is very good like that (he showed my mummy how to give bunny injection years ago, because a rabbit she had then need one over Christmas when they were closed, she did it fine but boy did it make her feel sick).

Our friend flopsy had an abscess in his mouth and the vet suggested smearing it with manuka honey every day - it worked a treat.

Oh poor Pebbles - I hope she is recovering well and I'm sending my hugest frenchy vibes...

I don't know anything about cleaning absesses, but Uncle Jason will explain everything clearly to your mum so she will know exactly what to do.

I'm thinking healing thoughts so she won't need to have this extra procedure....
