Last night, one of our last customers was a former manager of the old Bookmans on Broadway.

Just another in a long string of goofy coincidences since I moved here.

goofy coincidences rock. i just finished reading sirens of titan again since the last time i read it i was like...19 :) as such, i've been thinking a lot about goofy coincidences.

I once ran into a relative working in a convenience shop across from my hotel while I had been in Chicago on business. It was because they had Toffifay, which is one of my all-time favorite candies and I'd remarked that I hadn't seen them since I'd left the midwest. The cashier said, "Where are you from?" and I told him. As it turned out, he was the brother of my dad's second wife, Debi.
