Intro survey

Hi! The mod led me here from a post I made in a sewing comm about repairing pokey underwires. I'm so glad she did! It can be hard to find women who truly feel my pain about having a big bust. And hard to find info and bras as well.

Is your hometown in South Carolina? Would it be the Breakout Bras at www.breakoutbras.com? I love that site!

I'm close to your size. 34I in US sizes. I'm also a runner. I use the Enell for running and love it. I can jump around and they barely move. I'm in a size 2, which would probably fit you. They have their own sizing and their chart is easy to understand.

Panache is getting ready to release a new sports bra, but I have no idea how well it will actually hold the girls in.

Welcome!

Welcome!

One little nitpick: According to my info there is no such thing as a 34 HH in US sizes. There is only a 34 HH in UK sizes, which converts to 34 L in US sizes (at least with companies who make that large, which are Goddess and Elila). Panache is a UK brand.

Rec's:

For sports bras Shockabsorber, you can often get them very cheap on ebay.co.uk. Also the Elomi Energise, but I am probably biased bc Elomi bras fit me so well. (Aside from Elomi I can only wear the Panache Tango II Balconette and bras by Goddess, but Goddess bras are fugly.)

For clothing, Polish clothing brand BiuBiu. Also read this: http://www.thinandcurvy.com/2010/12/clothes-for-curvesbig-breasts-complete.html

One question: is there any source in Japan where you can get your size or do you have to order everything online from figleaves, bravissimo and the like?

Ah ha, you are right about the sizing, sorry! I bought it in the US but had forgotten about it being imported...

Thanks for the sports bra info, I will check out those brands and styles.

And no, there is absolutely nowhere in Japan I can get bras. Their biggest size is maybe like an American C. I usually buy them in the US when I'm home every few years. I do okay with finding clothing here; not brilliant, but okay. But bras and underwear, not gonna happen.

glad you joined. Looks like several other people came over from the community.

For your button up shirts you could always sew in a small snap instead of using a pin. I've had luck with that and never end up poking myself either :)
