My former coworker is raving up and down Facebook re: transformational weight loss program called Wild Fit90. I don't think she uses a gym so she saves that fee. I have known her for over 10 years and she never stuck with exercise or diet, just feigned interest. She just started this lifestyle program & lost 40 lbs in the last 3 months.
I feel like its a lifetime grind for the middle class and working poor. So hard to get ahead. I know the DC area is among the priciest areas though.
It's mentally draining to be broke all the time. It eats away at your ability have enough energy to carry out money-saving tasks. I hope you find a cheaper place that you like! Is there any chance of getting a raise or a higher paying job?
I'll find a cheaper place come November and that will be a HUGE help. My money will go further in a cheaper area too. I'm probably going to go back to being a commuter. I've learned some valuable lessons about living close to work/versus commute/versus quality of life and I think I can find the balance. I just have to budget HARD, squeeze all the pennies, and hold on for the next few months
I know Seattle is expensive. This area (DC metro) is right up there in top expensive places to live and hey, whattaya know, I've found that out!
