[OOC] Stats/Permissions
Name: Amaterasu, referred to as Origin of All That Is Good and Mother To All. Also answers to Ammy, Snowball, Fido, Snowy, and--honestly, you are WELCOME TO MAKE UP NAMES FOR HER. |D
Age: Unknown. Is a goddess-wolf. :x
Height: Average wolf size.
Medical Info: Is a totally healthy wolf, too! Her health is maxed.
Physical traits: Unless you are spiritually sensitive or pure innocent, she will just appear as an ordinary white wolf. If you can see ghosts/spirits/are an innocent child/etc., though, she will have red divine markings across her fur, and carries some sort of weapon on her back--standard is the flaming mirror, though she does have a sword and a rosary.
Abilities: OKAY SO. Ammy is being apped from the end of the game, right before she boards the Ark for the final boss, and as such, she has all of her Brush Techniques; by using her tail as a brush, she can draw the spells as she wishes. There are thirteen in all, and in order:
Sunrise: the ability to turn night into day
Rejuvenation: the ability to recreate things--fix broken bridges, replace missing laundry lines, etc.
Power Slash: (lv3) cuts through pretty much anything
Cherry Bomb: (lv3) creates up to three bombs placed as she draws them
Bloom: revives dead trees, creates flowers, etc.
Water Lily: creates lily pads on the water, which she can use to travel
Vine: creates a vine from konohana blossoms for travel
Waterspout: generates a fountain of water that she can use to get to higher ledges
Fountain/Whirlpool allows her to travel between different bodies of water
Deluge creates rain
Crescent: the ability to turn day into night
Galestorm: creates a gust of wind
Whirlwind creates a miniature tornado
Inferno: transports fire from one source to a place of her direction
Fireburst is the ability to create fire
Veil of Mist: temporarily slows down time
Mist Warp allows her to travel between ultimate origin mirrors (save points in her game)
Catwalk: if there is a statue of Kabegami, she can use it to walk up walls
Thunderstorm: transports lightning from one source to another of her direction
Thunderbolt creates lightning
Blizzard: creates a blizzard that can be used to freeze things, make bridges of ice, etc.
Icestorm creates a stronger ice storm
Okami is very much a canon where the power of the gods relies on the belief of the people; while Amaterasu is nearly at full-strength (and if I decide to update her to post-game, WHICH I MIGHT IF WE GET A WAKA), she will never be full strength, even if updated, because--not everyone in camp believes in/prays to her! And that's just fine. |D
Notes for the Psychics: AS MENTIONED--she is the sun god, Amaterasu! Though she has all thirteen of her brush techniques (and their extras because I AM A COMPLETIONIST PLAYER), she is not at her full strength! Those of you who can see ghosts and spirits for their true forms will also see her as a "fair maiden"--I assume this is overlapped over her "real" form of a wolf. The koropokkuru, who supposedly can communicate with animals, are unable to hear her voice, so while you might get impressions of emotions and images, you'll never get her actual words.
ANOTHER THING IS--she's a mother-goddess, too! Everyone in canon who recognizes her for who and what she is refers to her as "mother to us all," and according to mythology, the Japanese imperial family is descended from her. People who are able to sense her true presence will feel calmed and loved, because--that's what she is, that's what she does. She's a mother and she's a guardian, so she loves all of her children. :(
Can I shapeshift/bodyswap/spit at/step on/etc?: By using the Bloom technique on people, Amaterasu can make them pet her. She loev affection and petting, and THAT you do not need to ask! The violence, though, I reserve the right to dodge/avoid/etc. Why would you want to kick a wolf, anyway :(
