Yamapi suddenly wake up in the morning, he realized that he’s naked and his head is aching. He stared at Tegoshi who is hugging him and still asleep. He still can’t believe that this guy who is just move in his house two years ago is very cute. This is the first time he realized this thing to him. Then, suddenly Tegoshi open his eyes and saw him looking at him.
“Yamapi.” He said.
“Tegoshi. What happened last night?” he asked.
He didn’t remember anything last night when he was drunk. He thought.
“You were drunk last night. And you told me that Shige rejects you. And… you said that you want me to teach you to forget him and learn to love me.”
“Sou. Gomen Tegoshi, I was just drunk last night. I don’t know what I am saying. I can’t learn to love you. I’ll still continue to love Shige. That’s all.” He said.
“Why can’t you love me? The love that you gave to him, I love you so much Yamapi!” he cried as Yamapi gets up and went straight to the bathroom. Tegoshi is crying, he did everything to make Pi love him back.

*Tegoshi’s flashback*
“I like you Yamashita-senpai!” he shouted. And the guy got his attention on him. He turned around and went to him and says.
“You’re cute.” He touched his cheeks and leans closer to him as he clears his throat. “I can’t like you. I like someone.”
“Oh! You’re from 1-A!” Jin shouted as he run to them and joined the conversation.
“So?” asked Tegoshi.
“He liked the nerd from 1-A! So you know him!”
“What the Jin! Shut up!”
“Shige? You liked him?” he asked and Yamapi nodded. And that’s the start of his secret hatred on Shige.

“I have something to tell you guys.” Says Shige with a smile on his face.
“What is it?” said Massu while chewing his food.
“Anou, where can I start? Ah, I’ll tell you straight to the point. Yamapi is my boyfriend.” He said and Tegoshi turned his gaze to him. He can’t believe that he liked Yamapi too. He got mad at him more.
“S-since when?” he asked.
“We keep this relationship for 2 years, and… saa, and now, my parents know about this. They said that they can’t do anything. So, they agreed. And if it was my happiness, they’re happy for me.” He stated.
They’re together within 2 years?! Why didn’t I notice it? Shige is good at hiding secret, I didn’t notice that. He thought.
“Congratulations, Shige-kun” said Tegoshi while he stood up and get his bag.
“Tegoshi! Where are you going?”
“To the basketball club. I’m going to be late.” He lied.
“Oh, sou ka. Good luck.” Said Shige. And he left.
I still can’t believe this, he also liked him. And they were together for 2 years. I’m cuter than him, I’m more attractive, but I’m not as intelligent as him. I’ll try my very best to beat him. I really love Yamapi.

5 years later, after knowing his accident that put him on a comatose, he couldn’t describe how happy he is. He really wanted this thing happened to Shige. He was hoping that Shige will comatose forever or let himself die. If he is still alive, he will always be a loser. So this is his chance to be with Yamapi. But someone against which is Massu.
“Tegoshi! You can’t be with Yamapi. You will betray Shige! He’s our friend!” said Massu while stopping him.
“Friend? I don’t treat him as my friend for all these years. I love Yamapi since freshmen years but he told me straight that he can’t like me and he liked Shige. He’s the only person I love.”
“But, Shige doesn’t know anything about this.”
“Yes. So, I’m happy to see him in that hospital bed.”
“Y-you traitor!!” he tried to control his patience.
“Are you going to punch me? Go! Do it! I dare you!!” said Tegoshi, filled with anger.
“I can’t.”
“Oh, I gotta go. Jaa!” he left.
What should I do? Shige must be conscious now. He’s the only person who can stop Tegoshi’s foolishness.

“Yamashita-kun?” Tegoshi called him. And Yamapi turned around and looked at him.
“Tegoshi. Why are you here?”
“I came here to see you.” He smiled.
“You don’t have to.” He hiccupped
“You’re drunk?”
“I’m not.”
“You are! I’m gonna take you home. Where’s your car key?” and Yamapi point to his pocket. He suddenly gets it and helped him to go to his car on the parking lot.

They arrived to Yamapi’s apartment, Yamapi’s room, he slowly lay him down in his bed, while the guys murmuring his lover’s name. Tegoshi is just staring at the drunken guy.
“I’ll do everything to make you love me… I love you.” He whispered to his ears and kissed him.

The next day he woke up Yamapi is still sleeping beside him. He stokes his hair and this was making Yamapi wake up. His head was hurt and suddenly stared at Tegoshi.
“Tegoshi… gomen. I don’t know what happened last night.”
“Yamapi. Its fine. I like what happened. I--”
“It was an accident, right?”
“No. It wasn’t an accident. You liked it and I did too.”
“It’s an accident, I love Shige, remember. And it’s my fault for why is he in the hospital and comatose.”
Shige, it’s still Shige. I hate it when I hear his name.
*end of flashback*

Shige arrived very early at the law office; he doesn’t want to be late for his first day. That will be a bad impression. He went to Koyama’s office, to talk to him. But, his secretary told him that he was on the meeting, he will be back at 10. So, he waited for him. And his phone suddenly rings and he answered it.
“Moshi moshi?” he answered.
“Kato-san.” Says a little girl on the phone.
“M-Misaki?”
“Hai!!!”
“Why do you call me?”
“Can you come over to our house? I have something to tell you.”
“Why? You can tell me now.”
“I want to talk to Kato-san personally.”
“O-okay. I’ll come over.” He chuckled.
“Arigatou!” Misaki hung up the phone quickly.
What is she going to tell me? He thought.
“Kato Shigeaki?” said the person in front.
“H-hai! Kato Shigeaki desu.” he asked and bows a little.
“Yokatta. I’m Koyama Keiichiro, the one who called you last night.” He extends his hand to him and Shige hold it and shakes it a little.
“Hai.”
“Come to my office, let’s talk about your job.” He took his key out of his pocket and opens his office.
“Hai”
Shige sat on the couch, Koyama pointed him to.
“Want anything to drink?” Koyama offered as he loosened his tie.
“Ah, coffee would be fine. Thanks.”
Koyama nodded and pressed a button on his office phone. A female’s voice came through the line and Koyama asked for two cups of coffee.
“I’m really impressed with your resume, Kato-san.” Koyama came and sat on the sofa opposite Shige. “And is it ok to call you just Shige?”
“Oh, that’s fine. You told me that I’ve my first client ready.”
“That’s right. Your client is charged with child abused. He’ll be here soon,” Koyama looked at his wrist watch, “Will it be too much trouble for you to handle a case on your first day?”
“No, not at all. I can handle it.” Shige gave his full lips smile.
The office phone rang at that time and Koyama strode to the desk and pressed the flashing button. The same female voice from before came through the line.
“The client is here, sir.”
“Good, send him in.”
As if on cue, there was a knock on the door before it was opened from outside.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you Mr. Akanishi. Your lawyer is right here.”
Koyama greeted the person came in through the door,
Shige looked up at that name. It was familiar. Their eyes met.
“Akanishi Jin-kun?” “Kato Shigeaki?”
ჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱ
“I heard about you and Pi.” Akanishi studied the man sitting across him.
“You did? Hmmm. I see.” Shige took a sip of his juice.
After the surprising encounter at Koyama’s office, and discussion about the case, Jin suggested that they go and have lunch together. Jin invited Koyama to come along but Koyama politely declined saying Jin and Shige should spend times alone and catch up since they were school mates.
Jin sighed. “I’m sorry about that. You two made a really cute couple.”
Shige smiled. “Thanks. But I bet Tegoshi and he will make a cuter couple.”
Both of them didn’t talk for a while. It was quite awkward.
It was about five minutes later that Jin decided to break the ice.
“Are you coping well?”
“Hm?”
“Being alone and the fact that you’d missed out the two years of your life.”
“Yes and no. Yes because I’m not really alone. I’ve someone,” The thought of Ryo came across Shige. “by my side. And no, I am not really fine with the fact that I’d slept for two years.”
“I know you are strong, Shige.” Paused. “He was a bastard. I’m sorry I didn’t manage to talk him out of it.”
“It’s ok. It’s not your fault Yamashita and Tegoshi are together now.”
“I’ve not seen Pi for quite a while though. I was quite busy and he probably was too.” Jin noticed that Shige called Yamapi ‘Yamashita’.
“You two best friends should meet up then.”
“We will.”
“So, how is Shirota Yuu-kun doing?” Shige tried to change the subject.
“He’s fine. A lot had changed since the last time we met, Shige, which was two years ago.”
Jin told Shige about his life during those two years Shige was in coma. Jin who was famous for being a baka during his school years, surprisingly was able to see Shige’s uneasiness and didn’t mention Yamapi through that conversation. Till they were about to leave,
They stood in front of the restaurant, saying goodbyes.
Shige was the one to walk off first but after taking two steps, Jin called him.
Shige turned to look and Jin said,
“There is one thing I can tell for sure though. YamaPi still loves you.”
Shige just gave a slight nod of his head and continued making his way to the office.
ჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱ
Shige found himself, standing in front of the door of Nishikido household.
‘What am I doing here?’ He asked himself.
A voice in his head replied. ‘What else. Misaki asked you to come to see her.’
‘Yeh, I’m here because of that.’ He rang the bell.
Another soft voice from back in his mind said, ’Are you sure, that’s all. Aren’t you here for another different reason?’
‘What dif…’
The door was opened to reveal a beautiful woman in her early fifties.
“Hi, Mrs. Nishikido-san.”
“Oh, what’s surprise? Come in, Kato-kun. Come, come.”
Shige stepped into the house and was taking his shoes off when he heard a familiar voice.
“Who’s it, Mom?”
Shige looked up from his shoes at Ryo who seemed to just wake up from afternoon nap.
“Shige!!!” Ryo’s sleepy eyes were widened.
“Good evening, Ryo-kun.”
Ryo smiled softly, he was so cute with his hair standing out in all different directions. “Evening. Let me go and wash off first.”
Shige’s heart skipped a beat at the smile.
‘That’s the different reason. You wanna see Nishikido Ryo.’ That strange soft voice came up again.
“Wow, Kato-san you are here.” Shige was paying too much attention on Ryo’s retreating form that he didn’t notice a small figure, running up to him and
“Umf.” He was being glomped by a sweet little girl who was smiling brightly at him.
“Misaki.”
ჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱ
“Isn’t the rest house beautiful, Kato-san?” Misaki asked, obviously happy to be there.
“Yes. It is.”
“I’m so happy you can come along, Kato-san. Now it feels like a whole family.”
Shige blushed at Misaki’s words. What does she mean by a whole family?
Shige was here at the rest house with Nishikidos. Misaki had called him to actually invite him to go with them. Shige wasn’t surprised that he agreed to come. He really needed to get away from Tokyo for a while. He needed do forget and move on.
Now, Misaki and he stood outside the rest house, taking in the beauty.
Shige watched as Ryo unloaded the luggage from the car with the help of Massu. Yes, Massu was here too. It seemed that Misaki had invited him too.
“Can I help?” Shige offered.
“It’s ok. You stay there with Misaki and watch her.” Ryo answered.
“Kato-san, let’s go and look around.” Misaki pulled on his hand.
Shige sighed. It was like Ryo and Massu didn’t take him as a man anymore. He was like a nanny to Misaki. On the way here, it was the same. All he had to do was chat and play with Misaki and stayed in the car with Misaki and Mrs. Nishikido. It was a relief that Ryo and Massu didn’t force him to go to ladies room when they took toilet breaks.
ჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱ
“I met Akanishi-kun today.” Shige said as he pocketed his hands in his trousers.
“Akanishi Jin? Yamashita-kun’s friend?”
“Yep. He is my first client. Child abuse, can you imagine it?”
“Wow, your client? Cool. Well not the child abused part though.” A beat. “Are you ok?”
“Huh?”
“You two talked about Yamapi, right?”
Shige just nodded.
“It’s time you move on, Shige.”
“I know. And I’m trying.”
“Good. Ryo and I’ll always be there for you. Forget the past and think only about the present. What’d happened had happened. You can’t go back and change them.”
“Wow, that’s pretty deep coming from you.”
“Oi, what do you mean? I can be deep too.” Massu pouted.
Shige laughed.
Massu’s heart warmed at Shige’s laugh. He hadn’t heard it for so long.
“I’m surprised Nishikido-kun invited you.” Shige said.
“I was too. And I was a bit hesitated but he said there will be load and load of food. So…”
“So, you are here.” Shige finished for him. Massu would go anywhere there was food.
Massu grinned. The truth was that he came along to help Ryo and Shige hook up.
“We are sharing the same room, aren’t we?”
“Yeah we are.” Massu lied. Actually, Shige would be sharing the guest-room with Ryo. And Massu would be taking another guest room. “I’m quite hungry. Let’s head back.”
Shige stood walking, “Well, you go ahead. I still wanna take a stroll along the beach for a little while longer.”
Massu was about to complain when he saw the emotion in Shige’s eyes. He knew that Shige wanna have some time alone. So, he just complied and left Shige alone, heading back to the rest house.
ჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱ
As soon as Massu was out of his sight, tears slide down from his eyes.
He had been storing those tears since that morning after talking with Jin. Meeting Jin and talking with him brought back those sweet memories from his school days and the wonderful times he had spent with Yamapi.
How can I forget those? Those times with Pi?
How could he do that to me? Leaving me for another guy!
Well, he did come back to me but…why did I refuse him?
I…If I get back together with Yamapi, then Ryo will not be happy. He’ll be hurt. I don’t want Ryo to be sad. But why???
ჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱჱ
His vision was blurred with tears. He couldn’t stop his tears from flowing down, so he was glad that he managed to sneak back into the house without anyone seeing him. If one of the Nishikido-s or Massu saw his tear stained face, there would be no end to it.
Shige turned the door knob of his the room he was sharing with Massu. The room was dark.
Massu must be still in the dinning room, filling his stomach up. Shige thought as he made way to the bathroom. He needed to clean up his face.
He has to look presentable and good for Ryo. Wait, where is that coming from? Why do I care whether I look good enough for Ryo or not.
Deep in his thought, he missed the fact that the bathroom light was on.
He stepped into the bathroom and walked up to the sink. He looked at his reflection on the mirror.
At that same time, from the mirror, he saw the curtain that led to the bathtub being pulled open.
Shige’s jaw dropped at the figure came out of the bathtub.
A certain Nishikido Ryo stepped out of the bathtub, fully naked.
