[Fanfic] How to Fix a Broken Heart : Prologue

Few weeks later, he started to watch the freshmen. During break time, he watched him eating with his friends Masuda Takahisa and Tegoshi Yuya. His friends we’re not nerd as him. Every dismissal, before he went to his club, he watched him leave the school campus. His friends Jin and Yuu were observing him.
“Do you like that nerd, don’t you?” he turned around and look at his best friends
“Eh? What are you talking about?” he asked but nervous.
“Stop denying please! These past few weeks, you didn’t come with us to eat lunch, and we saw you were at class 1-A! Watched that nerd eat with his friends. And before practice, you are watching him leave the campus. You act like a stalker.” Yuu explained.
“So Pi? Are you going to tell us your romantic feelings?” asked Jin with a very teasing voice. “Yeah! I like him, but, I don’t know how to talk to him. Can you help me? Onegai, Jin, U-kun?” he pleased them with his puppy eyes.
“We can’t help you. You have to make your own move. Be a man, Pi.” said Jin.
“What if he ignores me?” his friend is going to answer but, they saw their scary buchou.
“Yamashita! Akanishi! Shirota! What are you 3 doing there? 50 push-ups for the 3 of you!” said their buchou.
“Hai! Gomenasai!” said the 3 in unison.
On the rainy day, he was on the way home, when he saw a group of boys wearing the same uniform, bullying their classmate playing with the mud; he checked on it and saw that was Shigeaki.
“You won’t make us assignments, huh!?” his classmates push him in the wet, sticky mud. And he just shook his head. And the others kicked him. And Pi can’t help to see what he saw, he run fast to them.
“What is this?” he pretended like he doesn’t know what’s happening around.
“Yamashita-senpai! That nerd is getting our way!” said the leader of the group.
“That’s bad! You shouldn’t hurt your classmate. You can go.” He said calmly. And he turned to Shige. He took off the towel on his bag and wiped his face.
“Daijoubu?” he asked. Yosh! I finally talked to him. Go Yamapi!
“…” the nerd didn’t say anything.
“Is anything hurt? Oh, I’ll take you to my house for now, and lend you my shirt.” He carried him. And walk on the way home.
“Anou... I can go home… by myself.” He finally talked and blushing.
“You’re not fine. I’ll take you to my house for a while.” He smiled at him.
“Dare?” he ask.
“Yamashita Tomohisa desu.” he smiled at him.

Shige went out of the bathroom wearing his clothes; it’s not big enough for him. All he can do is to stare at him. He noticed that.
“Why are you staring at me?”

“I know you’re watching me everyday.” He fixed his hair. Pi’s eyes widened. How did he know?

“I can feel it.”
“Is it one of your friends told you?”

“You’re great then,”
“I don’t know. Anou, I’ll go home now. Thanks for saving me and lending me this clothes.”
“Its raining outside. You can stay here for a night. Its dangerous.”
“I can’t. I need to study.”
“You can study here.”
“I’ll call my mom.” He gets his phone and dials his home number.
“Moshi moshi, Kato residence.” Said over the phone.
“Mom, its Shige.” Said with a very low voice.
“Shige! Where are you? Its 6 already.” His mom asked.
“I’m staying on my friend’s house for tonight. It’s raining heavy.” He looked at him, and Pi just winked at him.
“Its okay. Just go home early tomorrow okay.”
“Hai.” He hung-up the phone.
“Is it okay?”
“Yeah.” he sat on the bed.
“I’ll take you home tomorrow, then.”
“You don’t have to.”
“Its fine.”
“Fine. I give up. Where am I gonna stay?”
“Here. You’ll sleep beside me.” He grinned.
“What!? No way.”
“There’s no vacant room this time. You will sleep at my bed and I’ll sleep on the sofa downstairs.” He said as he stood up and is ready to leave the room.
“Matte, Yamashita-kun!”
“Doushite?”
“Anou… You can sleep here too…” he blushed furiously.
“-… beside me.” he added. Until he heard Pi laugh.
“Nani?” he asked.
“I’m so happy that I heard that from your mouth. And you called me by my surname!” He keeps on laughing. Until he start to pout.
“Oei, Shige. Don’t pout! Or I’ll kiss that lips of yours?” he went closer to him and their lips were almost met. Many things has come to his mind, confidence, nervous, scared, maybe after the kiss he might hate him forever. But, he doesn’t want to lose this opportunity. He wanted to let him know that he likes him.
“Then, kiss m--.” He didn’t complete his word; Pi locked his lips with his. His eyes widen. But, he didn’t protest. He broke their kiss and both of them blushed.
“Gomenasai.” He bowed to the younger guy and was about to leave the room again. But Shige called him.
“Yamashita-kun!!” Pi turned around and Shige was run to him and their lips have met again. He’s kissing me. Does he like me too? Or does he like my kiss? He said to himself and he start to deepen their kiss, and their tongues start to play and that makes the younger guy moan. He broke their kiss again and pressed their forehead close.
“I love you, Kato Shigeaki.” He whispered very sweet to his ears.
“I love you too Yamashita-kun.” He smiled and hugged him tight.
“So, you’re my boyfriend now?”
“Yes.”
“So, from now on, call me Pi or Yamapi. Any of the 2, you choose.”
“Yamapi is cute! But, why Yamapi?”
“Pi means PINK!”
“Pink?! Do you like pink?”
“Yeah! I love pink! ©”
“Seriously.” He laughed.
Few weeks after their relationship started, they keep this first a secret. They usually meet at Pi’s house. But, Jin knew that something’s happened between Pi and Shige, he start investigates the two.
“What’s the problem Yamapi?” he hugged his lover from the back.
“I can’t solve this problem.” He showed the book to him.
“Tsk. I think I know this.” He started to teach his older lover. He just stared at him and started to think. Am I a dumb person? How can a freshman like him know Trigonometry while me… Ahh!! Baka! Baka! Baka!
“Yamapi! Are you listening!?”
“H-hai!”
“Okay.” He started to read a book.
“Matte! How ‘bout this?” he signals him to come with him. And he follows him and suddenly m down for a deep quick kiss.
“Arigatou.”
5 years after their parents’ approval for their relationship plus the 2 years of hidden relationship. Yamapi became a successful businessman, while Shige just a freshly graduate from taking up law at Aoyama University. Since Yamapi graduated from college, they don’t find any time for each other. Their communication with each other lessen.
“Shige, is your work finished?” he asked him over the phone.
“Yes, but, I still have a lot to do. I can’t come to the opening of your own company. Congratulations, by the way.” He went inside his car and starts the engine and drives while talking to him.
“You promised me Shige! You will come. I need you.”
“Its fine. You can go through it without me, right?”
“Since when did you break your promise, Shige? You promised me right? Promise is a promise! You can’t break it!”
“I told you I’m sorry right? I’m busy.” He drives on the way home. He hung-up his phone and Yamapi’s keep on calling him. Suddenly, he accidentally dropped his phone on the car. He tries to get his phone, but, he almost saw a car near him, he used the break pad, but it didn’t work. The break pad, no! I just claimed it today! Its functioning well earlier! He can’t control the car, until his car went zigzag along the road, until he cross along with the 10-wheeler truck, he bumped the car very hard, and his car damaged really hard. And he’s wet with blood on his face. And a guy suddenly goes out to his car and helped him.
“Fuck! Just hang on, okay?” said the guy. And that was the last word he heard until he lost his consciousness.
