A fresh word from Yamashita, a word that a Kato Shigeaki never forgets. It was a precious 3 words that he treasured. He wouldn’t forget this, the word that Dr. Tomohisa said came directly to his mouth.
Its been a week that Tomohisa said that, and also he’s always late on visiting him on his room. It gives him a mystery.
Why is he late? Said time, 12 o’ clock noon, he will take me to the rooftop. What the heck!? Its 2 pm already!
“Gomen, Shige!” as Tomohisa, panted.
“Why are you late!? You always make me wait for the whole week!” Shige complained.
“Sorry, I have meeting. And also looking for your donor.”
“Sou ka.”
“Ne, Tomohisa, will I still live longer?” suddenly the patient questioned.
“Yes you will. Just stay stronger and you already had a donor.” He slipped and just kissed his younger patient to forget what he had said.
“I already had a donor?”
“Yes. I was about to surprise you. But, too bad, I slipped.” He laughed. “Are you hungry?” he added a question.
“Not actually, but who’s the donor?” he asked and suddenly, Tomohisa became uncomfortable on his seat.
“You will know it, someday.”
“Arigatou, ne?”
“Its my job as a doctor. And not just that, I love you. I want you to start a new life… with me.” He ruffles his hair and his patient hugged him.
Sayonara. He said to his inner self and he returned his embrace.

After visiting Shige, he went home along with his twin brother, and wanted to discuss about his decision.
“That’s Insanity, Pi!” exclaimed his older twin.
“Ryo please accept it! I love Shige, I want him to live longer and happy.”
“You can do that. Find someone’s match for him. Not yours!”
“There’s no more time! I’ve decided aniki. I’ll give my life for him and that’s final.” Shouted Tomohisa.
“I can’t accept this. I don’t know this insanity of yours.” As his twin brother kicked the wall and leans his head and cries.
“Aniki, as my final wish, I want you to take care of Shige, for me. Can I trust you with that?” he hugged his twin and cries silently.
“As always, Pi.”
“Thanks, aniki.” And Tomohisa’s phone vibrates.
“Moshi moshi?”
“What? Shige’s on ICU!? What happened?”
“Okay! I’m coming.” He flips down his phone and rushed off to the hospital.

It’s the first time that Shige was delivered to the ICU twice within a week, his condition gotten worse. He must take the operation as soon as possible. He must prepare himself on what will happen next.
“Tomohisa, I can’t take any longer. Where’s the donor?” questioned Shige, palely.
“Shige, the donor is just somewhere around, be strong.” He encourages his patient as he held his hand.
“I’m always here for you, Shige.”

Next day, Shige was about to take the operation, Tomohisa was right beside him, encouraging him to fight, but Shige loses hope as always.
“Tomohisa, you’re the one who’s gonna operate me?” he asked but the doctor just staring at him.
“I don’t care if the operation was successful or a failure. If I died on those hand of yours, I’m glad.”
“Thanks for being a part of my life.”
“Don’t say that, Shige! You’re going to survive this operation. It will become successful. I promise.” He leans down and kisses Shige for the last time, it was longer and sweeter. Shige took this opportunity for him. No one knows, if he’s gonna survive or not.
This really goodbye Shige, I want you to start a new life. My heart will belong to you later on. I love you. Sayonara, Kato Shigeaki. He pulled back to break their kiss as the anesthesiologist injects Shige an anesthesia for him not to feel any pain in the middle of the operation. Shige was brought over to the operating room.
Sayonara… Tomohisa wipes his tears and goes to the operating room, himself.

A white ceiling, bright light has shown into Shige’s eyes, as he open his beautiful eyes, rolling around the surroundings, there’s just a presence of his parents, he really wanted to see just now is Tomohisa. He wanted to see him so badly.
“Mom, dad… where’s Tomohisa?” he asked. His parents just exchanging looks at each other as his dad took an envelope on his pocket and gave it to him.
“Read it first, Aki. We’ll be back later on.” Shige responded with a nod. As his parents leave, he took the letter off the envelope and read the letter.
Shige,
Congratulations on your successful operation!
First of all, I wanted to apologize, for being a liar for once. Because, some other day, I promised you that once you opened your eyes, I’m the one whom you gonna see first. But, now, I’m just on your heart. Yes, the one who donate the heart for you, is me. I know you deserve to live longer than I am, I have to sacrifice even my life. But, saying that you will start a new life with me, its true, I’m already in your heart, I belong to you. Even I met you for a short time, it was the best thing happened in my life. Thank you for being a part of my life, having a special place in my heart. I’m always by your side. I really love you Kato Shigeaki.
Yamashita Tomohisa
After reading the letter, he crumpled the paper and throw it somewhere around the room, and started to cry hard.
He left me. Why should I live without him? I want to live with Tomohisa! Why do you have to leave me? My life’s useless again. I wanted to die. He said to himself, and suddenly a nurse came inside the room, carrying a tray of medicine, basin, glass of water and a knife to slice the medicine to half.
“Kato-san. You shouldn’t sit for now, you need to lie down and rest.” Said the nurse as Shige keeps eying over the knife.
“Can I have the knife?”
“Huh? What are you going to do with it, Kato-san?” the nurse looked curious.
“I want to die. My life’s useless.” He stared at the guy, he looks similar to Tomohisa, but this nurse is a midget.
“What!? You want to die? Dr. Yamashita donated his heart for you. And you won’t be thankful for that?”
“How can I start a new life without him? I fight my illness for him!”
“Remember, he gave his heart for you. So, he still remains inside your heart. He loves you, that’s why you are here now?”
“I wanted to be with him. I don’t want to live without him.”
“Why don’t you appreciate it?!” the nurse raised his voice.
“You don’t have any right to raise voice on me! I’m a patient here!” until the nurse pissed off with him.
“I still have a right to do it! It concerns my brother! You didn’t give importance that my brother gave his life to you to let you live. You don’t know how much it hurts me to lose a brother like him! I was against it! But, he already decided so, I can’t stop him!!!” Said the nurse who was trying to control his anger over the patient.
“You’re Tomohisa’s twin brother?”
“Yes! I’m Yamashita Ryo. I’m Yamashita Tomohisa’s older twin brother.”
“I’m sorry for how I acted earlier.” Shige low his voice and bows.
“You’re selfish, little brat! Don’t attempt to suicide! I don’t want to see his spirit and everything, blaming me, understand?” Shige nodded as response.
“Anou, can you tell me something more about him?”
“Hmmm? And why?”
“I want to know more about Tomohisa, his childhood memories; We hadn’t known each other that long.” He said and Ryo remembered what his dead twin brother has said about this guy.
“He’s the person I knew who doesn’t have any good childhood memories, he grew up in the hospital because of his heart disease.” Tomohisa said.
Yeah, I remember, I promised him to take care of this brat. He said to himself and he took a deep sigh.
“Fine, I’ll tell you, but, drink your medicine first. And take a rest, I’ll tell you later on.”
“Hai.” Shige obeyed him as the nurse grinned and did his responsibility as a nurse.

Ryo came back to his room 3 hours later, he saw the guy sleeping, and he came inside and goes to check his condition. A tear came out from the resting guy’s eyes.
“Tomohisa… why did you have to leave me? So, unfair…” Ryo stared at him and slowly wipe his tears.
“I love you, Tomohisa. It… doesn’t enough?” he just heard him sobbing. He softens his mood and he realized something about this youngster.
If I were Pi, would I do the same thing as him? Giving his heart for this guy?
