btw, i was just bored and trolling, looking for a friend whose lj name i forgot when they told me the other day, and saw that you have about a gazillion things in common with me, including an obsession with uconn basketball. my pic is of my cat, geno. that pretty much says it all.
also, i'm married to a somewhat stifled transgendered person. some days i don't know how to deal, but it's reassuring to me to read things from the other side (even if it's f-m and not m-f).
There was a homeless woman outside the subway the other day who had her camp broken into (can you break into something that isn't secure) and all her stuff was stolen, including her dog who's in the pound now. It's just messed up.
And yes, it's tough dealing with trans issues. As a partner all you can do is support them and encourage them to be who they really are so they can be happy.
Totally excited for the upcoming season, though right now still enjoying the WNBA (particularly the Monarchs blowouting out LA right now). Mildly concerned about UConn, though Geno can do anything. I hope that Jessica Moore is back to normal by season's start. The Gophers should kick some butt this year, even without Lindsay. We have our season tix (fourth year running now), and I can't wait to get back in the Barn.
