Am I fat?

I am 5'7" and I weigh approximately 160 pounds. I measured my waist size and my hips. My waist is 27" and my hips are 37" and I wear a size 5 comfortably. I ask this because some guy and I caught a couple of girls snickering about my weight and they stick up their noses because I weigh so much I guess, either that or they think I'm fat. Either way
