Two truths and a lie

It would be too grand to say that I believe that these are Truths with a capital T that somehow transcend all cultural boundaries, but I would say that I live every day with two beliefs in mind (and they don't even really relate to God, so this isn't going to be a religion post).

Ah, I feel like I can really relate to this post. I had a hard time opening up to people, especially at the beginning of my sophomore year (in the time you've known me--it was worse in high school), because I thought that maybe I didn't belong in our circle of friends, that everyone was Steph's friend and not really mine also.

I went to college because it was expected and I pretty much refused to apply to the University of Hawaii because I wanted to be in a new environment... Oh, and I think when you expect the worst of people, they are more likely to give it to you. At work I think I mess up more often if I believe my co-worker expects me to mess up.
