happy to be at work. Don’t get me wrong, I love my friends. I had a great time this past week and a half. But I’m done entertaining for at least 2 months. Utter exhaustion, broke from eating almost every meal out (Trev and I actually got excited b/c one night we got to eat a frozen pizza), don’t care to have another smoke or drink for a long time, ( Read more... )

Thanks for hosting the par-tay; i don't know if i ever thanked you before. now you understand the stress of hosting family xmas, although luckily without the need to clean up all the alcohol paraphenalia before your parents get home :) my mom still gives me crap about a zima bottle cap she once found.

my mom uses the patch when she flies- sounds like your mom could have used it on the train.

i'll have to learn a trade so i'm as welcome at your place as shawn ;) maybe something like hemming pants or untangling necklaces...

the party wasn't that hard to host. I took a don't worry about anything approach this year and I seemed to handle everything pretty well, except Jake's need to be in the kitchen when I was trying to get to stuff. :)That was annoying. It was just the whole week of partying.
You could learn the wonderful task of twitching your nose and making all dog hair disappear off everything except the dog :).

believe me, i've been trying to master that one for years ;) especially getting those course yellow hairs from being embedded in a black sweater!

at least jake was in good spirits though, despite the standing. i talked to lilly for a bit; she's nice & funny too.

ah... $20 and not saying goodbye... I don't get it either really... I was gonna ask who Amber and Keith were? I used to work with a woman who had a husband named Keith... just thought I'd ask...

Congrats on winning the game btw... I was skeptical in that last quarted... Cough... How do you think Auburn would have done against USC? =)

Amber is my best friend and Keith is her husband. You've most likely never met her since she doesn't live in town and never seems to visit.
I'm not sure how Auburn would have done against USC. Honestly, I think it would have been a close game, but I think USC would have won since they always win against us. Trev will probably hate me for saying that.

that can't be it, b/c the only people over were Erik and Julie. All of which were leaving the next day. He just said he had to get something from home real quick and he'd be back. We assumed it was the $20, but he never came back. We weren't even talking about B-ham. I understand how he feels about that whole situation but I don't know why he left. We were playing Pictionary, and once it was done he seemed to run out with an excuse. It made no sense and in the meantime he really hurt the friends who were leaving town.
