Have I mentioned enough how our local news blows?

Around 7 PM last night tv programs started to put a ticker on local programing to tell us a small plane had crashed in Madison County. BUT, they never broke in once to tell us details of it. Had it had been raining, the program would have been interupted at least 3 times to show us someone standing in the rain and confirming...yep, it's raining.. I ( Read more... )

yeah i saw an article about that on al.com, but still no details! apparently the 2 people in the plane actually died :(

i think it's conspiracy to keep the public from "panicking". i once saw a terrible accident on the highway between Macon and Atlanta. a car flipped over in the median and there was a body (clearly deceased) lying in the middle of the highway. the following two days i scoured the internet to find details about the accident, but i couldn't find a single thing. coverups i tell you!!

So I just went to see if any updates had been added to any local news websites. I didn't read anything new. But if you go to ABC WAAY 31 site, it doesn't even have the plane crash as a headline. Instead it talks about getting your girl scout cookies!!!! I guess the public would rather get fat that read about a local tragedy. Maybe that's what happened in your case too.
IT would be a logical explanation except the news is the constantly feeding us horrible news from the war. Very rare we hear of anything good going on over there. And I know there has to be some, maybe not a lot, but at least something has improved their way of living.
