speaking of houses... im trying to find a new place to live here in auburn and i want to get out of sterling. my mom is cheap and im sure with utilities included she wouldnt want to pay more than $430 TOPS. any advice? if you dont have any it's ok. i just hate living amongst loud, college kids partying every night. thanks.
I lived on campus the first 2 years, then I moved into a quad-plex? I'm not sure what you would call the place. If you're on Magnolia going away from campus you'll dead end on Debardeleben. If you turn left I use to live in one of the units on your right. I loved living there. We only had 3 neighbors, and only one of them lives above you, so that was nice. It was a rather large apartment (it had 2 bedrooms so this might be more than you want). I shared the apartment from 2000-2002 and only paid $210 a month, $420 total. I can't really remember what untilities came out to, less than $100 total. Fucci owns those buildings. I had a friend who lived across the street in a one bedroom. The place was okay, really small and super thin ceilings. and then I had a couple friends living at Cabana, which was probably the nicer out of the 3. I think rent was around $400 for a one bedroom. You have to remember this was several years ago, so rent has probably gone up

thank you! you helped a lot. i had a friend that lived off of debardeleben. stuart and i went to fucci the other day and i have the list right in front of me. the quadplexes off of debardeleben are $470. splitting $235 a month isnt bad at all... it's just finding a roommate that i wouldnt mind living w/and everything. i love my current roommate but i dont love coming home to BET or obnoxious rap music. my mom gave the ok on living at campus pointe, but that is my last resort. im thinking the real estate agencies are holding out on the really cheap ones until summer time so they can rent out the expensive ones first!
