new definition of uncomfortable: urban/suburban sprawl. it's a maze around here and i feel sorta lost and turned around and bewildered. i'm used to rather more contained cities (or just smaller) but even more than that i'm used to small towns and open/forested rural spaces. this is totally foreign and it's just another confirmation that i am NOT ( Read more... )

moving went great, your stuff wasn't in the way at all. you get *both* my old desks, incidentially...the one in the living room because I got a new one, and the one in your room because it won't fit in my room.

you won't *recognize* the place when you come back. it looks so much better with all the new stuff we got.

give me a call! my cell actually works here (when I'm not on campus, like I am now).

also, when are you coming back?

well, seeing as how you dislike civilization and want to return to a state of nature, I sort of thought that you would feel a bit out-of-place in a city =P

maybe you can forgive the grass- some people take it as an art to make it grow well, if not naturally. Some lawns can look beautiful if done right!
