I think UCONN (Storrs) has a pretty well known agriculture program, if you haven't looked at it. My Mommy majored in horticulture there.

oh, btw, UW-Madison does have the bestest Ag department anywhere - with cool research for the brainy and cool internships for the broke or hands on learner types

then again, we're really fn expensive, because we're a big ten school.....
