Life has been very busy, lately, which has been good but also means I'm behind on stuff. I'm so excited about SYTYCD, it's one of my favorite summer things. And I'm embarrassed to admit that I'm loving The Bachelorette. It's such a mess, but I totally love how sweet Emily is, and almost all the guys are extremely attractive. So it makes for fun ( Read more... )

LOL you are correct on the comm. There's about four posters who I pretty much skip over when I see their names now. I just don't understand why they're constantly searching for racism in a show about fairy tales. IDK, they must lead depressing lives.

I want to move to Orland sooooo much. One of my friends actually works down there as Cinderella and it just sounds like the dream life. Disney World is my favorite place ever <3

LOL yes. When they wanted Regina to be Latina, I was just like...Regina's not from our world...hahaha idek. And people getting upset about more true love plot lines--I just can't. This show is about fairly tales...it's called "Once Upon a Time." I really don't know what they were expecting. LOL I'm so happy you're in this fandom to squee over the important things in life. Like Dr. Whale.

And yessss we will take over Disney World!

Congrats on grad school! Speech & language pathology sounds fascinating--are you going into it from a linguistics or communication studies/disorders undergrad degree, or something else?

Thank you! I'm actually going in without a related background, I was a Classics/English major :) I went to a school without an undergrad SLP program, so by the time I'd figured out I wanted to do, it made more sense to just finish my degree and take the pre-reqs as part of the grad program.

Wow! That gives me hope--I'm not 100% sold on my current major (not because I don't love what I'm doing, just because there are so many things I want to study), but I definitely want to continue to grad school someday. Good luck with everything :D

Yes, it's definitely possible to change your focus/major for grad school, so no rush! Thanks and good luck to you, too!
