I knew the spoilers but still thought she should have stayed in Vegas and just left the job. She should come back later...I wanted the letter to say she would but I guess TPTB didn't want to make any promises they couldn't keep. It'd be nice if she came back like right before the show ended and GSR was happy together then.
they have said that Jorja might come back for guest spots later on... I mean they certainly can't leave it this way, GSR fans will riot and rating will plummet
I was shocked! I was thinking the same thing you were. No Sara on the show, but she'll be in Gil's life. I was happy that they weren't going to kill her off. After watching her kiss him, I knew something was seriously wrong. I was hoping Gil would find her at their house, and not that it was a goodbye kiss. I hoped, and cried, and hoped again that I was wrong about Sara's intentions for the kiss. **pulls hair** I was shouting at the TV for Gil to chase after her as soon as she walked away from him.
I KNOW!!! I mean geez, you keep you relationship secret forever, and ever after that you keep it out of work and suddenly she's up kissing you infront of lab techs. Obviously something is not right, chasing her down the hall would have been the thing to do.
I can imagine the fics that will erupt from this... in fact I may need to do a reunited one just make myself happy
Yes, I've been attempting to write some CSI/GSR fics (just haven't found the grove to write the fandom yet) and I know my muses are itching to rewrite that episode with him chancing her down.
I was speechless after last night and that never happens, I always have something to say, but I just couldn't believe they ended it like they did last night. On a positive note tho, they did not kill her off and it's up to us to create our own spins on what really happened. Like in my Behind The Scenes fanfic, I'll probably just write it out that Sara leaves for a while to have some time to herself, but she does come back. I mean she was finally engaged to Gil Grissom, she can't just throw all that away and leave forever. That's just not Sara, in my opinion. So in my mind, she'll be back and they will live happily ever after. The end.

I didn't hear about Jorja leaving until this afternoon. I wasn't into it until roughly a month ago... but since I watch on Spike and CBS.
WTF! I will have to retreat into my fan fiction hole for my GSR?!?! JABKSJBDUBIEUBQ! (<- Me being effing annoyed)
Is it not enough that X-Files ended?!?!? AND LEFT UNRESOVLED. BUT NOT ONLY THAT MULDER LEFT! Ratings will plummet, and the show will end in a season or two. I can guarantee it. Then they will probably try to bring it back with a movie. With Ms. Sidle.
Personally I think this is a load of crap! Sara is awesome. She is the reason I started watching! No doubt they will ave to bring in a character or two to replace her. GUESS WHAT CBS IT DON'T WORK! It only works in the beginning. AND IT HAS TO BE A COMEDIC SITCOME TO DO THAT! (Referring to Fresh Prince, Facts of Life, and Bewitched.)
