Do you ever wonder if you chose the right career? If that is where you want to be or 50 years? Don't get me wrong, I love teaching ( i think) but there are times where I wonder why i didnt pick a job that ends at 5. Where there is no work to take home and you can have a life. Upside

On the upside, there's summers, also you hopefully be able to reuse your lesson plans from year to year, so you won't have to create all new ones. They're will always be grading, but there could be some creative ways of taking care that at least for older kids. I remember in 5th grade, I got extra credit to help do multiple choice, fill in the blank, word bank, etc. during free time in the class period or recess, I think...anyway I think things will get easier for you.
