The bad parts was mostly just that the fight scenes at the end went on way too long and there was way too much needless destruction.

This seems to be the general consensus, which I agree with. Loved the characters, loved the Krypton stuff, loved Lois, etc. But the ending was way too smashy-punchy-destructy and went on for way too long. Ugh. Avengers handled the city fight scenario much better.

Yeah. Though I guess a plus side of the massive destruction is that Lex (should he appear in a sequel) actually has a valid reason to hate Superman in this universe, instead of the really petty ones he has in so many others.

I so want to see Heat, but all my friends are anti women fans :/

Think I'll go by myself and indulge my aloneness and lactose intolerance with a fart inducing choc top ice cream.
