since my last post was a super long rant, I decided to make this post a bit more cheerful and write about some of my favorite things at the moment.....
I haven't bought Ava the leapster yet, but I think she would love it. I'm also a white knuckle flyer so Jet Blue is the only way to travel for me. I turn on HGTV and the flight's over before I know it!
Love Color Wonder stuff-best invention ever-the second best is washable crayons and markers (the only thing I allow in my apt ever since Julia took a dry eraser marker and drew all over the walls-had we not been getting ready to repain I would have cried)!
I can't stand Angeline Jolie-ever since she practically french kissed her brother at the Oscars she skeeves me out!
omg - i can see why you only allow the color wonder! bella wrote on our leather sofa with pen and now all pens are practically banned from teh house. Whenever i have to write something, i have to dig for a pencil in her stash :)
I forgot about that - it was gross. Its strange to me how she did this complete metamorphosis from goth to simple/ organic-like. Can one change that drastically?
OMG- the sneaks- i had a pair from when i went to Italy years ago- loved them and wore them all.the.time! Unfortunately i lost them to mold (long story). Totally w/ you on Bachelorette! Chris has grown on me even if he's a Boston fan (i'm a die hard Yankees fan and had to laugh when they were in Portugual and they blurred out his tshirt). ;-) I've thought about starting to watch MadMen but i always feel like i don't have time to catch up on past seasons and then i wouldn't know what was going on. Isn't the girl that played DJ Tanner- Kirk Cameron's sister? She looks awesome- and good for her having a great life like that! Those wines are hilarious...i'm going to have to look for those! :-) And for Angie- i was always Team Aniston! :-)
So you understand the appeal and fashion necessity of the simple practical and super cute superga sneaker! I want to get a pair for bella - I think they are so cute.
Chris has grown on me also - I think he is the best match for her but I have a feeling she will crush him and opt for Roberto who is hot as hell but, I feel, not as into her. We shall see...
I got madmen from netflix and its been the perfect summer show since there is nothing else on that is really good. then in the fall i'm overwhelmed by all the shows to watch.

We bought the Tag Jr. for DS for his second birthday, but he's just now (at almost 2.75 yrs old) getting into it. I hope he likes the Tag when he gets a little older too!
I never did like Angelina, but yeah, Brad's still hot no matter how much of a jerk he is. ;)
the tag jr wasn't out when bella was little so we skipped right to the regular tag. But I think the jr has the cutest little books. It will be the type of toy that he will like for a while because each time he sees it now, he will learn and discover more and more.
So many people tell me I look like DJ Tanner - I guess I should take that as a compliment!! :)

Ohhhh, that cruise looks amazing. AMAZING. I would book right now if $ weren't an issue (isn't it always, though?).
I need to give Mad Men another shot. I watched a few episodes of Season 1 and couldn't get past the chauvinism - I know, it's a tv show and I need to get over it. ;)
Lastly, I think Angelina is pretty gorgeous but I'm with you - I will always be Team Jen! I have a friend who's been trying to adopt for a long time and she is so bitter about how Angelina can just swoop in and adopt as many kids as she wants while it's much harder for non-celebrities to do so. Sad.
I have to check out a recent pic of you - I don't think i've seen one of you in a while so I'm curious about the resemblence!
Mad men is definitely chauvanistic. Its actually one of the things i find so fascinating - to be able to get a glimpse into this world that my mom worked in. She also tells similar stories of stuff that would NEVER fly in today's workplace. But it is sometimes hard to watch.

Totally w/ you on Bachelorette!
