If you don't mind working fast food, there are dozens of jobs going. Red Rooster in the Myer Center is always, always looking.

If you're after something a bit classier, in Wintergarden (also in the Queen St Mall) there's a suit shop, "Suits on Q" who're looking for a shop assistant. Also in Queens Plaza (directly opposite Wintergarden, also in the Queen St Mall) there's another suit shop, "P.O. Box" who has a sign up that they're looking for someone.

Honestly, wander the city with 50 resumes. So many places are looking for people.

This is also the best time to start looking for a Christmas Casuals job, which can turn into full-time work. Fellas Gifts are probably looking for people around this time of year, the place that I once worked.

And if you're looking for a job until February, Christmas casual work is perfect. They want you until Feb, then they want to get rid of you.

Yeah, I held a Christmas casual position from just after I graduated until I moved to Brisbane in February, and it was perfect. Trouble is I got Centrelink then, so I wasn't just relying on my work pay.

Thanks for the heads up! I think I'll spend most of Saturday in the city jobhunting. I knew I kept you 'round for a reason! :P
