Why the FAFSA apparently hates me.

This is the FOURTH year i've tried to apply for the FAFSA. And every year so far has ended in failure.

First Year:
My Employer refused to release information regarding my payroll claiming that I had to do so myself through their website. However, when they gave me a password and username, it refused to work. And when I contacted them for help, no one ( Read more... )

That's extremely weird. Um well, what happens with the people around here who apply for FAFSA who are qualified don't get the money they qualify for until they enroll in 12 units (that's being a full-time student) worth of classes (which get waived for having FAFSA) and then they get sent a check every month after that (it may take a while; if it takes too long, we go to the Financial Aid office to pick it up). You can check what units qualify as full-time at your school because I know it's different for every school. If you sign up for less, you'll only get a percentage of it (for example, 6 units-half of 12 units-would get me 50% of the FAFSA money). I hope this helps [x_x]
