what programs do you use for making icons? i want to start making my own and am not sure what to get to use.

I haven't made any in a long while but... for the non-blinking kind I use Photoshop. for the moving blinking fun ones I use Adobe Imageready. if you don't have access to those programs then maybe you could search on www.download.com for programs. I think you can search by keyword and each program has a blurb about what it does and a rating scale. most are free to download too.

Hey sweetness! I use photoshop elements 3.0 (4.0 came out here like a week or two after I bought my 3.0 grrr!) and I am used to it now and love it. It set me back nearly $200 AU.

I love my photoshop. It's like my third child LOL. My saxophone, my sewing machine, and my photoshop. My happy family. No men- LOL. never :)
