They aren't necessarily meant to be "artistic" per se, but to just capture the beauty of the moment or to make you notice something you otherwise wouldn't. They don't necessarily have a super deep meaning or anything like that. Also, I do use Photoshop to enhance most of them. A lot of the older ones don't have much changes, but the new ones have been enhanced. I don't believe in doing a lot of alterations in Photoshop and counting it as a photograph. It would be a digital manipulation.
Yes and no. Some of them actually have the saturation up on them. I guess it's all a matter of opinion on how much should be done. That's one of the great things about art. It's one of those things that isn't conclusive by one opinion.
