I showed up at work at 7 to sign the ER (early release) list, and one of my managers, Joe, gave me a waiver to sign. He was like, "Sign this. We need extra surfers this morning."

Of course I wiped out in front of all the pros, but I had an awesome time.

Work is sweet.

I've been having an awesome time here. I'm in love with my job. Typhoon Lagoon has been perfect fit for me. The other guards are awesome, we hang out a lot, going to the beach, surfing, etc. I get to swim with the sharks and stingrays everyday as float guard in the shark reef.
