Vincent gazed at her with a passive look. Her flushed cheeks and her frazzled look amused him, though he would never admit it. She got frustrated with him very easily, but this however was not a time for her to be frustrated. “Am I?” he asked with a raised eyebrow. “I happen to disagree.”
She threw her hands up in the air. “Of course you do! Your reputation is not the one at stake here!”
The edge of his mouth curled up slightly, but he didn’t smile. “Your reputation is already rather tarnished.”
She scowled as she folded her arms across her chest. “That was mean Vinnie.”
He shrugged slightly. “Perhaps, but it is true. You are not very….pure after all.”
“The only reason they know that is because you told Cid. And you know Cid can’t help but open his big mouth about everything you tell him!”
He pulled her to him, wrapped his arms around her waist, buried his face against her neck. “Forgive me, but I felt I needed to brag.”
“Brag about what?”
He nuzzled her slightly, kissed the side of her neck. “The fact that I have the most beautiful girl in all of Wutai in my bed.”
She blushed, smacked at his shoulder. “That is not something you brag about.”
“Why not? You are beautiful, Yuffie. And you chose me.”
She gazed up at him unblinking. “Of course I chose you. I love you.”
The edge of his mouth quirked once more. “Then what about my idea?”
She sighed, pressed her cheek against his chest. “I don’t know.”
“Do you love me?”
“Yes.”
“Do you enjoy being with me?”
“Yes.”
“Then what is there to think about?”
She sighed, kissed his cheek. “Alright.” She smiled up at him again, tilted her head to one side. “Let’s move in together.”
