Tora stood there under the blazing sun, freezing his ass off. It was a gorgeous day, perfect really, and he really thought today was going to be fun. And it was until this happened. Now there he was standing chest high in icy water freezing his balls off. It wouldn’t be so bad if he could get out of the water. But he couldn’t. He really really couldn’t. He didn’t know how or why but he really should take swimming lessons. After testing out his current skills he found himself near drowning, and in his panic...somehow through the twisting and coughing and making his way to shallower water he…well he lost his trunks.
He searched for them in a panic in this moment actually, his lungs burned, and he felt generally horrified. He knew his friends, his band mates were probably really worried by now. He had his back turned away from the shore hoping that would make them nit notice and less worried.
"Tora!"
Another wave a panic hit his chest then as he heard what could only be Nao getting closer.
"Are you alright!?"
"Fine! Fine! Really just go back!" Tora yelped out as he lowered himself deeper into the water, he moved his hands quickly around under the water hoping his trunks were there.
"We thought we lost you there for a second! Come back with me." Nao said as he finally reached him, he swam a bit in front of Tora as he tried to look at his face, concerned as to why he was hiding it. Tora turned away, feeling suddenly hot to the very tips of his ears. How embarrassing could this get!?
Nao smiled at him, "you suck at swimming~"
"Im fine! Trust me just leave me alone will you?" Tora whined with a glare.
Please go away. Please please pleaseee
Nao titled his head quizzically at Tora's sudden outburst.
"Tora"
"...."
"I know somwthings wrong~ I just cant figure out what. Dont be ashamed that you cant swim~"
"Im not"
"Its okaaay"
"Im. Not."
"......"
Nao smirked and without warning playfully grabbed his arm. Tora practically shrieked out in panic and shoved him off, tripping a bit and finding his head going under water. Nao however pulled him up quickly.
"Jeez Tora what the heck!"
"Go away please" Tora pleaded
"Tell me whats wrong!"
"Just go away!"
"No!"
"Go"
“Tell me!!!"
"I'm naked!"
Nao's face went blank for a moment.
"N-n-naked!?!?!?!?"
"Shut up! Dont yell it out to the whole world" Tora whispered angrily.
Nao smacked a hand over his mouth
"Youre joking" he whispered through his fingers
"....I wish I was" Tora said with a cringe.
"Agahahaahahahahahah!"
Tora splashed water angrily at him which only caused him to laugh harder
"You're serious!"
"Obviously!"
"Well we gotta find them!" Nao said looking around uselessly
"I got an idea!" Nao said, his eyes lighting up. The mere expression send waves of horror through Tora. He thought he was going to be sick.
"Ehh- NAO NO!" Tora sputtered as he saw Nao's head dip under water, quickly he grabbed Nao's arms and pulled him up.
"We are not going down there"
"How else am I supposed to find them!? I can see under there you know~"
"I know" Tora said through his teeth impatiently.
"Hmmmmmmm well lets feel around for them? They cant have gone too far~"
Tora felt his whole face burn with shame at the current state he was in.
"Hmmm I bet they're over here somehwere~"
Both of there eyes went wide then as Nao grabbed something that definitely wasn’t his trunks. Quickly Tora dipped his hand in the water and grabbed Nao’s wrist tightly. He felt Nao’s hand release its grasp as both of them looked rather sick.
“I-I’m sorry”
“It’s f-f-f-fine”
“I didn’t mean to-“
“I know”
Nao swallowed and awkwardly smiled. Tora felt like he would die right there on the spot.
“…but you know, if it makes things less awkward, it couldn’t be helped” Nao said with a reassuring nod.
“What!?”
“It’s rather big!”
“Wha-!” Tora was at a loss for words and instead blushed visciously
“…HAHAAHAHAHAHAHA!”
“OI! Are you joking!?” Tora said rather angrily now.
“Do you think I’m joking~”
Tora narrowed his eyes at him, “you ass”
Nao smirked and swam backward a bit, his eyes lit up then.
“I found them!”
“EH!?”
“Your trunks! I feel them~!” Nao said with a laugh, putting his hand under water he began to pull them up.
“Wait” Tora said quickly, “don’t pull them out just..just hand them over to me, under the water”
Nao laughed and nodded.
Tora quickly managed to slip on the heavy trunks, avoiding Nao’s gaze the whole time. Nao however looked a bit too amused and like he wanted to say something.
Giving up after a few more moments of awkward silence Tora sighed annoyed.
“Say it already will you?”
Nao shook his head, “are you mad at me~?”
“NO” Tora said in a pissed off voice.
“You are! You think I would be that mean!?”
“yes!”
“Well~ I’m not.” Nao said with a smirk.
Tora felt himself blush then.
“Also…I think you liked it Tora-shi”
“EH!?” Tora splashed water at him as Nao swam away and laughed.
“I DID NOT!!!”
“Hahahahahahaahaha~!”
