Character Name: Eureka
Canon: Eureka Seven
Role: Combatant

Background: Wiki article

Personality: As a Coralian given a human form, Eureka, much like those before her (because it is known that there are at least two others like herself on Earth), is somewhat of a blank book. Meant to be a tool for the Scub Coral to learn more about humanity since it itself cannot openly communicate, her emotional depth is somewhat lacking at first. Not understanding even some of the most simple of Human emotions--happiness, sorrow, even love--before she meets Renton, Eureka is somewhat of a quiet girl who never seems to smile. The only person she seems to even talk to in excess is Holland, the captain of the Gekko-Go and leader of Gekkostate. Perhaps the only evidence that she even has a soul is the fact that she's a surrogate mother, adopting three orphan children whose parents were killed during an SOF raid that she was a part of. Despite having very little emotion, she is fiercely loyal.

However, when Renton comes into the picture, Eureka slowly changes. Still the rather soft-spoken young woman that she was before, she becomes rather caring, and easy to smile. She has a general warmth about her, and a curiosity about the world around her, one that otherwise she would have had no knowledge of. Still extremely loyal, she grows to wear her heart on her sleeve, wishing to be a good mother for her children, and wanting nothing more than to see those people around her genuinely happy. She would give everything to see others' happiness, even above her own.

Very slow to anger, she is more prone to fits of frustration and depression, usually triggered by misunderstandings or believing that she is a burden to someone else. She also has somewhat of a deep-seeded pride, although it isn't regularly seen. Emotions such as jealousy are not beyond her, and she has been known to say things without thinking or possibly understanding, and these can be very biting. As she grows to understand what has actually said, she is quickly apologetic, and doesn't seem to hold any sort of deep-seeded grudge.

Robot Name: Nirvash typeZERO
Robot Description: The Nirvash is a prototype machine in which all other transformable LFOs (Light Finding Operation) units are based off of. A rather sleek design, it stands at almost 15 meters tall in LFO mode, and 3 in vehicle. Able to change between modes rather quickly much like a VF unit, it boasts two cockpits, which are separated and far more pronounced while in vehicle form. One of the things that makes the LFO units so unique is their way of moving around. Using boards akin to snowboards, they are propelled through Transparence Light Particles, or Trapar. Doing this is called Lifting, which is also a well-known past time for some; in fact, one of the members of Gekkostate, Holland Novak, is quite famous for it.

As for weapons, the Nirvash has very few, but the most notable would be the boomerang knife. Among some of its other armaments are shoulder cannons as well as a beam rifle. This are not used nearly as often, however.

The Spec 2 version of the Nirvash abandons these extras all together, gaining a much different design and another boomerang blade as well as a flight mode. It still, like the regular typeZERO, retains the dual-pilot system, but both do not need to be present--either Eureka or Renton can pilot it solo or together.

While the Spec 3 is an obvious upgrade, it is only seen during the last mission. Extremely intuitive with its control systems, it seems to respond with the same movements that its pilot (Renton) does. Looking far more humanoid than any of its previous incarnations, it also boasts a cockpit that lets the pilot stand, also helping with ease of use. Able to fly without the use of a ref board, the only real weapon seen is a continuous beam laser.

Storyline:

Mission 1 - Blue Monday
Renton Thurston, a normal boy, meets Eureka, the strange pale-skinned pilot of the Nirvash typeZERO, the prototype for all other LFO units before it. Renton installs the Amita Drive into the Nirvash, and because of that causes what is called the Seven Swell Phenomenon. The Nirvash also serves as a distraction to steal the Gekko-Go from the United Federation's, and Renton is taken in by the Gekkostate.

Mission 2 - Acperience 1
A Kute-class Coralian appears, and Gekkostate goes to investigate it. Despite having difficulties reaching the Nirvash, Holland still urges Eureka to go in his own way, asking Renton to go with her; "If anything happens to her, I'll kill you." Little do they know that it has also piqued the attention of Dewey and with his new unit in tow--Anemone in theEND--they head toward it. Nirvash and theEND battle, but both are drawn into the center of the Coralian's Zone while the Izumo and Gekko-Go continue to fight. After the anomaly disperses, both the Nirvash and theEND reappear, and UF and GDF forces go to retrieve. It is then that a miracle happens.

Mission 3 - Acperience 2
After being stationed in a mine severely lacking trapar waves of any kind, Eureka gets terribly sick. Finally going back to the Nirvash after many days, she takes out the Compact Drive, and the Nirvash starts moving on its own, further into the mine. Renton goes after her. During this time, the UF forces begin to choke Gekkostate, attempting to collapse the mine with ballistics. Renton finds the Nirvash, and Eureka being sucked into the mine itself, and he pulls her out. Asking Nirvash for strength to protect her, the trapar level accelerates at an alarming rate; the Nirvash triggers another Seventh Swell Phenomenon. This gives the Gekko-Go enough power to be able to take off.

Mission 4 - Morning Glory
Charles and Ray, along with the backing of the Federation, go after Gekkostate head-on; Eureka leaves the Gekko-Go to find Renton, and Renton goes after Eureka. Using tricks to reflect the Gekko-Go's radar signal, Charles and Ray run into Eureka as she's on her search, and gives the Gekko-Go the heads up that they're heading into a trap. Renton goes after her in the Nirvash as the Gekko-Go engages the UF units. Grabbing her midflight, the two pilot the Nirvash, disabling the enemy units and causing them to retreat. Charles is killed in action, however.

Mission 5 - Get it By Your Hands
Driven to the brink of insanity by her husband's death, Ray goes after the Gekko-Go herself. Masking her signal using Charles' favorite song fed over the airwaves, she launches an all-out ballistic attack. Renton and Eureka try to talk her out of doing something like this, but it is fruitless; she is found and is killed in battle.

Mission 6 - Start it Up
With Dewey's troups advancing their plan and the Nirvash Specs 2 near completion, it is left to Axel Thurston to finish its board. But they run out of time and are found by the UF, and he makes a break for it with the completed Ref board; they miss the drop point to get it into the Ray Line, however. Complications arise, however, when Coralians are driven from their sleep by his forces, and theEND is deployed as well. Nirvash Specs 2 deloys for the first time, managing to get the ref board, fending off theEND, the aerial Coralian disappearing, but not without ravaging part of the city where it was unleashed.

Mission 7 - Acperience 3
In order to visit Sakuya in the Vodarek holy lands, Gekkostate's LFOs are disguised as floats. Due to a fluke, they are discovered, and a fire fight ensues. Eureka and Renton rush to where she is and disappear for a while. The barrier around the city itself is lifted once Eureka makes contact, UF forces close in. Another Orange is launched, and theEND is dispatched as well. During this time, Norbu and Sakuya make an opening for Renton and Eureka to fly into the Great Wall. Gekkostate covers for them as they go, the Nirvash moving on its own. theEND manages to catch up with them and chase them into the zone, but isn't able to catch up and is left behind. The UF withdraws.

Mission 8 - Shout to the Top!
The Oratorio #8 is fired a second time, destroying the command cluster. Pieces from it suddenly start hitting the planet's surface, and those suffering from Despair Disease start responding. On of the pieces opens up a hole in a mountain range, exposing the underground world. Dewey makes an announcement that he's going down there to finish the job. The Izumo agreeing to be a shield for the Gekko-Go, they tell them to go down to the site. Going down there to take on the Ginga-Go, the two ships fight it out along with the help of the 303, while on the surface the military fights off the endless swarms of Coralian antibodies. Gekko-Go acts as a cover to let Holland infiltrate the Ginga-Go and kill his brother. The Gekko-Go charges into the Ginga-Go. The Nirvash reactivates, and the Izumo demands a ceasefire, that killing Dewey is a mistake. He offs himself, and Eureka transforms, becoming a new command cluster.

Mission 9 - Second Summer of Love
With Eureka becoming the new command cluster, she tries as hard as she can to keep the Limit of Questions from happening. Renton is told to make contact with Eureka and act as a mediator between the Scub Coral and humanity. Flying toward the command cluster, the Gekko-Go, a huge swarm of Coralian antibodies stands in the way of the cluster, and the Gekko-Go takes them on to try and clear a path for Renton. Instead of sitting back and waiting, however, Renton decides to go out and clear a path for himself, the Nirvash transforming one last time. Creating his own path through the antibodies, he flies into the command cluster, and another miracle happens.

Notes: Gekkostate will work as an independent group separate from the GDF. At times, either the GDF will employ the aid of the crew of the Gekko-Go (mostly in the form of Eureka in the Nirvash, but if we get any of the others, they would also factor into this); at others, they will be the ones asking for assistance.
