Ben cooked ribs tonight. G loves ribs. Ben made the comment "eat your pork" to G who honestly can't tell chicken from beef from pork. Everything is chicken to her. Except Meatloaf. Ribs are called "those long things ( Read more... )

See Jen- this is why I share it. So you can reap the rewards without having to deal with the 3 years of crap it took to get to that convo! :-D I had a similar one with G when she was 3 when we saw wild turkey's crossing the road. I said " Look kids- it's turkeys" and G was like " turkey?... what was that thing we did at Robin's house... ( thanksgiving) did we eat Turkey?... We eat that?... Well someone should catch it so we can have dinner!"

It seems G is the strong carnivore and Toby is the veggie head-- which is true. When G found out she was eating pork ribs she said " yum and ripped the meat off the bone. " Toby while clearly not vegan - he lives on dairy- is rare to eat much meat. He's a bread-milkarian.
