So, I'm lookingat a school called Idyllwild Arts Academy. It looks really cool. My mom is looking into another school called Cate, and another one somewhere in Massachuesetts that my principal recommended. But I'm really interested in Idyllwild. I can't study creative writing esecially, I'm so excited, but applying to a new school is kinda scary ( Read more... )

As you know, I am eternally jealous and eternally injambent, bound by mine ar-bitch-trary mother. Sad. I wanna go to Art School. Niko went to Idyllwild. You'll meet tons of people way cooler than me. i went there for 2 years, i was the youngest person to ever attend they're dance program, but the people there were really competitive and fake and mean, but w/e bloats your goat hun, best of luck!

^____^ There aren't many boarding schools up in San Fran, but I know that Nicollete went there so it should be relatively close to the city.

I agree with Tierney. Give them what you feel is the best, but try to write something new for them. Explore all genres, and don't be afraid to make fun of yourself in your writing. Prove to them that you can hold your own in not only poetry and serious fiction, but bust out some Sci-Fi, or comedy if you can. Write a serious story, then write some dumb teen drama.

That's what I reccomend... I wish I could go to writing school. My passion is writing. But Daron and I are teaming up to write adult/teen picture books. I'll autograph one for you, if you autograph one of yours for me. ^_~
