My momma made me read that book when i was in fourth grade...not exactly fourth grade material... it wasn't pretty but i'm really glad i read it , i too agree people should read that book cuz it really shows you how wekked out drugs are.... also i have this other book by the same person that edited that diary, its called Lisa Bright and Dark, its not a diary but its the story of this girl who had a split personality ( hence the bright and dark) and i guess the girls friends told the editor the story or something, you could borrow it if you like

but ne ways i totally think people should read that book

Man, that book is a trip!!! I read it the first time when I was 14 and never touched drugs, and I didn't really understand it. Then I read it again when I was 16 and was tweeking, and I realized how much I identified with it. Then I read it again when I was 17 and sober, and realized what a stupid bitch the main character is, and how dumb she is for choosing that path to go down. Every time I read it, I noticed something different. The best part about that book is it is always changing with where YOU are in YOUR life. Its pretty cool. You'll like it.

I remember you telling me about it when we were in the car on our way to our house in arrowhead. And you told me that if I ever started I diary to really put my heart in it, like the chick in the book, because people might want to publish it someday. You were probably 14 or 15... do you remember that? (I remember the weirdest things)

I have that book, but I will never read it...although I agree with the anti drug message, the books are complete crap, entirely fictional.
