It makes me cry at night...and in the daytime. haha. Really, the stupid people who think that Chinese should just be reduced to pin yin to make it "easier" are shitting themselves.

There's nothing wrong with pinyin. It's not exactly nice to read, but it does the job just fine for letting you know how to pronounce something. You could try Wade-Gilles if you prefer. :)

Or Zhuyin, I suppose. If you want to go to Taiwan.
