Oh, there is a hurricane that's supposed to hit us tomorrow night. It's only a category 1, so that's nothing to worry about.

and that's the same hurricane that might prevent me from heading down to georgia. oh....darn.

I think that's something only a Floridian would say "A hurricane is coming...let's go to the beach!"

oh man, do you know what my mom would do if there was even a tropical storm headed anywhere near miami while im there?!?! i swear she would fly down just to take me back, haha. i'll just ignore any severe weather and/or not pick up any phone calls from home.

Now i have to go finish a weight training paper...

...yes, a weight training paper. stupid ua summer class.

There was a hurricane last year, I don't remember which one...this was in September. I had two roommates at the time (one from Atlanta and one from NY) and both of their mothers wanted them to fly home and get out of FL. Both refused, saying their mothers were being stupid.

I on the other hand was already in NY, at my cousins Bar Mitzvah. So my family is all like 'Oh how nice, we will be going to NY anyway and we will miss the hurricane.' Well what do you know, at the last minute the storm turns, and hits us in NY =( Just our luck. I bet my NY roommate was glad she didn't fly home, hahaha.

you know it is something only a floridian would say. but dont feel like the cheese stands alone, i thought the same thing. other people who have not been in a hurricane weould have been more alarmed as well, while you and i and most of miami were on the same wavelength when you thought, "oh its only a cat. 1, no biggie" i think though that Adrew may have warped our perception tho.

Yeah...I was only 8 during Andrew..but I remember it so very well. After that storms just don't seem like something to worry about anymore....till they get to a category 5, haha. Anyway, it's 6am and I have no idea why I am still up, so this is gonna be cut short. Adios =)
