Ok so, I really have ended up liking Aion a lot more than I thought I would. The mass pvp is done so much better than Warhammer did it, and small scale pvp is still very prevalent, whereas most warhammer pvp was zerging, because you COULD, because there was so much aoe. When rifting it really sucks to go in larger numbers than a six man because it is really easy to get separated and you move a lot slower, and in the Abyss the mass fort raid pvp is made interesting by artifacts and the Balaur.
I also really don't mind the pve, it's challenging and keeps you on your toes, and of course pve can quickly turn in to pvp! :D
I'm lvl 43, and yeah, it's slow leveling, but I've never really run out of things to do. I'm playing with a fun group of folks, other warhammer refugees lol. It's frustrating at times because dying sucks so much in this game but it's very rewarding when you succeed :D
But yeah srsly,
check me out~
I've done a good amount of Aion drawings this past week hopefully I'll get around to posting :P
ALSO!! Before I was just throwing around the idea of going back to school just cos I was kinna bored and unsatisfyed with my art and the fact that I was becoming "complacent", but I think I really am going to go back to school now.
cambryn and her friend Matt took me to Gemini School of Art and man, it is perfect. We did a little portfolio review with the owners and just talked with them for a couple hours and it was really inspiring, I feel like if I did do the course there, all the missing pieces would be filled in, and I could get a job anywhere. Anyway, dunno how I could pay for it but I'm just excited, I hope I can figure out a way to get in.
