getting Volgin to himself- a relatively good distance away from the rest of the crowd- The blonde man stands with one hand against the nearby wall, and the other against his hip.]
Pretty crazy game, huh? [EVA's smile is charming and friendly; but most of all- relaxed.]

He had hardly talked to this man, or for some peculiar reason, really noticed him. There was something to be said for that, as he let the ashes of his puzzle drift delicately away from his hand while he closed distance.
He was not buying the friendly face either (but he usually did not anyway), mulling over the clue: One dog left.]
I would prefer our "host" to be someone where pondering his strangulation is not a dilemma.
